It's a perfect mix of a challenging and unfamiliar task, an energetic activity, and carnival spirit!

 

As well as bonding the team, workshop is ideal for addressing themes within the workplace including:

  • Team cohesiveness - how does the team react to instructions from a new, unqualified leader or to members who are struggling?

Absolutely. Ideal applications include:

  • a focus on leadership and communication by allowing some of the group to lead.

  • a focus on team cohesiveness through a musical problem-solving activity.

  • a focus on ice-breaking by encouraging collaboration.

 

Who will be running the workshop?
 

David Walter BSc (Hons) MMus has been a professional teacher of Brazilian percussion since 2011. Additional experienced practitioners will be brought in for larger workshop.

 

What do I need to provide for my workshop?

 

Just your team! We will provide all the necessary equipment and staff and can even arrange a venue if you wish.

 

How long will the workshop last?

 

As long as is appropriate for your team. This could be anywhere from a 20-minute blast to a full afternoon experience or a series of workshops throughout the year. Typically, 45-60 minutes works as a taster, or 2h for something more in-depth.
