Teambuilding workshops for any business
What's on offer?
Fun, cost-effective, valuable teambuilding workshops.
Why choose a samba drumming teambuilder?
It's a perfect mix of a challenging and unfamiliar task, an energetic activity, and carnival spirit!
As well as bonding the team, workshop is ideal for addressing themes within the workplace including:
Team cohesiveness - how does the team react to instructions from a new, unqualified leader or to members who are struggling?
Communication - how does the team tackle a written musical problem and convey their understanding to others?
Agility - spontaneously deciding on new roles and actions in an unexpected situation.
Can I tailor the workshop to address specific themes?
Absolutely. Ideal applications include:
a focus on leadership and communication by allowing some of the group to lead.
a focus on team cohesiveness through a musical problem-solving activity.
a focus on ice-breaking by encouraging collaboration.
Who will be running the workshop?
The practitioner, David Walter. has a 1st Class Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Warwick and a Master's in Music. Additional practitioners will be brought in for larger workshop.
What do I need to provide for my workshop?
Just your team! We will provide all the necessary equipment and staff and can even arrange a venue if you wish.
How long will the workshop last?
As long as is appropriate for your team. This could be anywhere from a 30-minute taster, to a full afternoon experience or a series of workshops throughout the year.
"A rewardingly exhausting afternoon; a great opportunity for team building and getting to know new people as well as good old social fun! We would highly recommend it to anyone - aspiring Sambistas and rhythmically challenged alike!"
"It proved how well we do actually work together. The actual instructor was very good, made everyone feel really comfortable and was clearly great at his job."
"I would definitely recommend as a team build exercise."
"Really enjoyed it – thought he had a great way of interacting with us all and pushing our comfort zones but doing so in a way that worked. Able to link the theories into context e.g. different learning styles and a great way for the team to bond."
I LOVED it!
